David Marshall

Founder & Principal

David Marshall is the Founder and Principal of Malaphor. His work draws on experience across venture capital, corporate finance, and Entrepreneurship.

David serves as Head of Europe for TFO Equity, an international sports venture capital firm and investment platform. Through Malaphor, he partners with founders and leadership teams to improve investor readiness, strengthen commercial planning, and navigate key stages of organisational growth.

His background includes co-founding Suji, a venture-backed sports technology company that worked with the majority of major US professional sports teams, as well as founding and operating one of Europe’s leading independent fitness businesses. He has also served as Chairman of a National Governing Body, contributing governance and strategic oversight at national scale.

David brings a practical and analytical advisory approach shaped by roles as a founder, investor, and advisor. His focus is on helping organisations make clearer decisions and achieve measurable, sustained progress.
