David Marshall

Founder & Principal

David Marshall is the Founder and Principal of Malaphor, a specialist capital advisory firm working across sport, entertainment, technology and high-growth commercial assets.

David’s background spans elite sport, venture-backed technology, corporate finance, investment and governance. He is also Head of Europe at TFO Equity, an international sports venture capital firm and investment platform.

Before launching Malaphor, David co-founded Suji, a venture-backed sports technology company that worked with the majority of major professional sports teams in the United States. He has also built and operated a leading independent fitness business in Europe and served as Chairman of a national governing body.

This combination of founder, operator, adviser and sports investor experience gives Malaphor a practical understanding of how sports assets are built, funded, commercialised and scaled.
